~ A poem ~
And in that moment,
I saw everything.
I felt it all.
The unity. The spiral. The oneness.
Through you living your life,
I am able to live mine,
to be me.
In whatever capacity, great or small.
In centuries past and those to come.
To feel, to express, to listen, to decide, to experience.
To grow, to glow, to flow.
To live.
To ascend.
To die and then live again.
And in that moment,
I saw everything.
I felt it all.
Gentle vibrations of deep-seated compassion.
I see you.
And then I fell—arms wide open—into the beautiful abyss of boundless, unconditional love.
For you.
For me.
For us.
~
For me, this poem is about love. Love for self, for another and love for others. It's about letting go of what I think things should look like, an acceptance for each person in the world - who they are, what they do, how they live. It's an honouring and a recognition; we are all connected in some ethereal, cosmic way.
